Research Project Results 2022

With an incredible 55% of students achieving in the A band, students at University Senior College have continued to chose interesting and unique topics for their Research Projects and make great use of the resources and teachers around them to help facilitate greater knowledge acquisition and skills refinement .

This year in May, the South Australia Young Achiever Awards winners were announced during a Gala dinner, in front of an audience of over 300 people. University Senior College was there as one of the partners for their Create Change Award.

Mock Trial Competition Grand Final Winners

For the second year in a row, University Senior College won the Grand Final of the Law Society’s Mock Trial Competition, held at the District Court on Tuesday 13th September.

USC Mock Trial Semi-Final Win

Congratulations to University Senior College Year 11 Legal Studies students for their win against Botanic High School in the semi-final of the Law Society’s Mock Trial Competition.
Parliament Visit
University Senior College students were treated to a reception, presentation and parliamentary tour with Member for Adelaide, Lucy Hood MP. The students were excited to attend parliament as it had been years since most of them had been. They engaged in debate, asked questions and heard about the history of the institution. Everyone was very engaged and Lucy was impressed by the knowledge and passion of our students.
Music Performance
Year 11 and 12 Music students presented another fantastic night of performances to family and friends.
AMC Mathematics Competition 2022

A group of enthusiastic USC students took part in the 2022 Australian Maths Trust, Australian Mathematics Competition.
'Plain English Speaking’ Competition
Congratulations to USC Year 11 student, Jessica Grasser who won the finals of the ‘Plain English Speaking’ Competition. The competition comprised of three categories: a prepared speech, an interview and a 3-minute impromptu speech. Jessica performed superbly in all three. The National Final will be organised by NSW as a zoom competition in September.
