Mock Trial Competition Grand Final Winners

For the second year in a row, University Senior College won the Grand Final of the Law Society’s Mock Trial Competition, held at the District Court on Tuesday 13th September. The trial was judged by the Hon Justice Tim Stanley and involved an allegation of assault. Seymour College acted as the prosecution while University Senior College represented the defendant, who was accused of threatening to apply force to the complainant.

Tilda Byleveld a Year 11 student from University Senior College was awarded ‘Best Barrister’ and an internship with a judge. Congratulations to Janine Campbell and her Year 11 Legal Studies students.
