Plain English Speaking Award Competition - Jessica Grasser

Congratulations to University Senior College Year 11 student Jessica Grasser, who won the National Final in the Plain English Speaking Award Competition. The Plain English Speaking Award aims to encourage and maintain the best use of clear and effective spoken English and is open to senior students in all government and non-government schools.

Jessica’s efforts earned her and the College, the Plain English Speaking Award Shield for 2022. This achievement is all the more impressive, considering Jessica had to exhibit her skills in an 8-minute speech, a short interview and a 3-minute impromptu speech.
