Knitting and Crochet Club
In Term 2 members of the USC community were invited to join a knitting and crochet club. Students, staff and community members made a commitment to make scarves, beanies or gloves for people living rough in South Australia. What a great effort!
St Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout 2024
Thank you once again for supporting me to fundraise for the Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout. I have taken part in this event for ten years now and this experience really allows me to reflect how vulnerable people must feel out there night after night.
Biggest Morning Tea 2024
On Wednesday 29 May University Senior College held its BIGGEST Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Foundation.
Craniofacial Australia Bake Sale
In October, the University Senior College Community held a bake sale in the hub to raise funds for Craniofacial Australia. A team of staff and student baked cupcakes, slices and cookies to sell to at the Hub. Together we raised $800 for the charity. What a great effort! Thanks all who donated.
Walk a Mile in My Boots
A team of University Senior College staff and students pledged to walk and collect donations to support Hutt Street’s cause to end homelessness in South Australia.

Biggest Morning Tea 2023
On the 31 May University Senior College held its BIGGEST Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Foundation. A team of students and staff chose to support this charity due to the significant impact cancer has on the USC community. A dedicated committee organised the event. They baked goods as well as providing warm refreshments for the staff and students. A raffle and a guessing game also helped to engage participants. It was pleasing to see groups of staff and students having a good time socialising while participating in acts of kindness.
Fundraising for the victims of Vanuatu's Tropical Cyclones
University Senior College staff members, Kelly Keeling and Nadia Lovett, who both have family and friends living in Vanuatu, created a GoFundMe page and organized various fundraising events, such as a cycle challenge, raffle, and bake sale, to raise funds for the victims of Tropical Cyclones Judy and Kevin in March.

Borneo Bake Sale
