Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout

I’ve been taking part in the Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout for eleven years. It is a cause close to my heart. Having worked in city schools for more than 20 years, and living close to the parklands, I see homeless people daily. I believe that homelessness affects an entire community issue, and I try to do my part to tackle this issue, but I need your help to do that.

This year we are sleeping out in the Adelaide Zoo. Each time I’ve slept out, it has been cold, and on many occasions, we have been rained upon. It gives the participants some idea of what homeless people have to contend with every day. The sense of vulnerability is real.

I’m reaching out to the USC community once again, asking you to consider donating to my fundraising for this year’s Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout. To encourage you, anyone who donates more than $100, I will automatically enter them into a prize I’ve donated, that is to win a Penfolds pack of three 2019 Bin 389. I will draw the prize winner’s name morning on the day of the Sleepout, which is Thursday 19 June 2025.
