USC win Law Society’s Mock Trial Competition

USC Students at event

Congratulations to University Senior College Year 11 Legal Studies students for their win against Walford in Round 3 of the Law Society’s Mock Trial Competition.

In the case involved property damage and University Senior College was tasked with prosecuting an environmental activist who had painted STOP on one of the chimneys at the Torrens Island Power Station. Although the prosecution failed to prove the case to the required standard of beyond reasonable doubt, they won the competition round.
