Food for Thought at Sprout Cooking School

In Weeks 8 and 9 of Term 1, our Year 10 students visited Sprout Cooking School to participate in the Food for Thought program.

The program explores the complex relationship between food, our health, and the world around us. Before stepping into the kitchen, students learnt about the vital connection between food and wellbeing. These lessons were then brought to life with hands-on cooking experiences in Sprout’s large kitchen, helping students tie theory to practice while building fundamental cooking skills.

The day concluded with a delicious two-course lunch — all prepared by the students themselves
