AMC Mathematics Competition 2022

On Wednesday morning of Week 2, a group of enthusiastic USC students took part in the 2022 Australian Maths Trust, Australian Mathematics Competition. The group comprised of 14 Year 10 students in the Intermediate division and 10 Year 11 or Year 12 students in the senior division.

Each division had 30 challenging questions that required the participant to use logical, accurate and creative mathematical reasoning. As quoted by the Australian Mathematical Society Institute, “Mathematics is an essential in the 21st century workforce and it’s your doorway into nearly every industry.”

Many of our USC students have exciting tertiary education options, world of work and futures ahead of them.
