USC Student Represents South Australia at National Constitutional Convention

Congratulations to Year 12 student Alice Wight, who was selected as one of 12 delegates representing South Australia at the 30th National Schools Constitutional Convention (NSCC), held in Canberra in March.

Hosted at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, the NSCC brought together students from across Australia to explore the theme: “Does the Constitution allow us to maintain national priorities while embracing new regional economic possibilities?”.

During the convention, Alice took part in expert-led discussions, interactive workshops, and a range of memorable events including a Prime Minister’s Reception at Parliament House, a visit to Government House to meet the Governor-General, and a formal dinner at the National Press Club of Australia.

Well done Alice on this remarkable achievement and for proudly representing USC and South Australia!
