Politics Meets Art at the Radical Textiles Exhibition!
Our Politics students had an inspiring excursion to the Radical Textiles Exhibition at The Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA), where they explored the powerful role of art and craft in activism and social progress.
During a private tour, they engaged in thought-provoking discussions on gender equality, colonisation, and religion, gaining new perspectives on how textiles can challenge and shape society.
In the AGSA studio, students got hands-on, using iconography to explore identity and communication—creating their own unique patterns that reflected their personal insights.
A fantastic opportunity to see how politics and creativity intersect in meaningful ways!
