YEE HIP Exchange Program

Students on excursion

University Senior College hosted a YEE HIP Exchange Program group of forty-three students and seven staff/teachers from schools in Beijing, Chongqing and Shanghai. Their visit to Adelaide is part of the international YEE Education ‘Human Interdependence Project’ of which USC is a Partner School.

Their visit to Adelaide was full of intercultural exchange of culture, learning and teaching. The students and USC facilitators (Michael Jacobsen and Sam Franzway) had a great couple of days inclusive of excursions to the Museum of Discovery, Australian Space Discovery Centre, SA Museum, SA Art Gallery. As well spending time in USC classrooms observing lessons, undertaking Digital Drawing sessions, HIP activities and presentations; they also devoured two sensational ‘authentic’ Aussie lunches cooked by our USC staff.

The Exchange Program was a great success, and we enjoyed our International HIP Camp participation in Chongqing, China in August.
