Wear it Purple Day 2023

The SRC at University Senior College planned a special Wear it Purple Day on Friday, 25 August. Wear it Purple Day is an annual LGBTIQA+ awareness day especially for young people, based in Australia. Supporters wear purple to celebrate diversity and young people from the LGBTIQA+ community. Fairy bread, cupcakes and other desserts were provided. Students and staff were encouraged to wear purple. Many helped design a new purple banner, played with some dress ups and some even had their faces painted! The event was enjoyed by many.
