International Students Visit the Fleurieu Peninsula

This week our newest group of International students (July intake for the USC Intensive English Program) enjoyed a 2-day overnight camp, exploring their new South Australian ‘backyards’.

Students and USC International staff members took a trip to the Fleurieu Peninsula – stopping off in Port Elliot, Goolwa and Victor Harbour. The cohort visited Urimbirra Wildlife Park, the SA Whale Centre, and enjoyed the scenery from the Goolwa Wharf, Horseshoe Bay and the Port Elliot Lookout.

The trip was an excellent opportunity for our new International students to bond as a group, before beginning their semester long language program. Successful completion of this program leads the students into Year 11 at USC in 2020.

A huge thank you must go to Michael, Damien, Tash, Joyce, Pei Chi and Guan for helping make this very important experience for our newest International students such a success
