Supporting Student Wellbeing

This week, USC hosted a Parent Evening with counsellor Katy Walker, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation on how to support young people’s wellbeing. Katy introduced the concept of 'functional worry' and how if we shift our mindset about worry, it can be a helpful tool for preparation, problem-solving and a motivator for action, rather than a problem in itself.
