Student Spotlight: Abinav Murugappa

We’re thrilled to announce that Year 11 student, Abinav Murugappa, has been selected to join the South Australian Student Representative Council (SA SRC)!
Abinav is part of a group of 150 students across the state who will represent student voices and drive positive, student-led change in their schools and communities. This initiative, led by the Commissioner for Children and Young People and supported by the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA), empowers students to take action on issues that matter to them.
Abinav recently attended the SA SRC Summit, where he had the chance to meet and network with fellow student leaders from across the state. Reflecting on the experience, Abinav shared: "I was able to meet with many youths from diverse backgrounds, local MPs such as Lucy Hood, and inspirational young speakers with a wealth of experience. All in all, the event was amazing!".
Congratulations Abinav! We're excited to see the incredible impact you will make as a leader. Stay tuned for updates on his journey.
