Congratulations to the USC Class of 2024
University Senior College is extremely proud to announce the outstanding results of our 2024 Graduates
The 2024 Year 12 University Senior College Graduates have demonstrated exceptional dedication and perseverance throughout their academic journey. Their results reflect not only their hard work but also their commitment to personal excellence. This year’s graduates have achieved impressive academic outcomes, showcasing growth, resilience, and the ability to adapt in an ever-changing world.
The 2024 Dux is Ashton Raethel who received an ATAR of 99.95. Ashton excelled with Merits in Chemistry and Mathematical Methods, A+ grades in Specialist Mathematics, Physics, and Research Project, and earned two High Distinctions through The University of Adelaide’s Headstart Program.
Our Proxime Accessit, Vincent Zhang, achieved an ATAR of 99.80 and attained Merits in English as an Additional Language and Mathematical Methods, along with excellent results: A+ in Specialist Mathematics, A in Economics, and A- in Research Project.
I am delighted to share the following:
- 5.60% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 99 or above.
- 11.23% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 98 or above.
- 20.00% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 95 or above.
- 42.10% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 90 or above.
- 59.00% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 85 or above.
- 71.90% of the cohort achieved an ATAR of 80 or above.
There were 110 A+ grades and 544 A grades overall. 85% of the grades were in the A band.
34 Merits for the SACE were achieved across all learning areas.
37 High Distinctions and 15 Distinctions for The University of Adelaide’s Headstart Program and Flinders University’s Extension Studies.
The graduating class successfully attained 100% SACE completion.
