Congratulations to the USC 2023 Graduates
The 2023 Year 12 University Senior College Graduates have excelled, and their results are testimony to their dedication, resilience and commitment to reach their personal best. They have demonstrated their capacity to learn, conquer challenges and develop their capabilities as effective communicators, leaders and collaborators, and their ability to think critically and act ethically. They are ready for the next phases of their lives, and we celebrate them.
The 2023 Dux is Haein (Helen) Park who received an ATAR of 99.90. Haein achieved Merits in Chemistry, Physics and Specialist Mathematics and High Distinctions in Human Anatomy and Physiology 1A and 1B in The University of Adelaide’s Headstart Program. She also achieved a Merit in Mathematical Methods in 2022, when she was in Year 11.
Our Proximae Accessit Rianna Herring achieved an ATAR of 99.85 and achieved Merits in Chemistry and Physics and a Merit in the Research Project in 2022, when she was in Year 11.
I am delighted to share the following:
- 20 students achieved an ATAR of 99 or above, 10% of the cohort.
- 12 students achieved an ATAR of 98 or above, 16% of the cohort.
- 52 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, 27% of the cohort.
- 84 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, 43% of the cohort.
There were 132 A+ grades and 568 A grades overall, with 50 Merits for the SACE, 31 High Distinctions for Headstart and Extension Studies students and 16 Distinctions.
Merits were achieved across all learning areas and in 20 subjects.
Congratulations to all our Graduates, you model the University Senior College values of integrity, mutual respect and diversity and are ready for university and life beyond school.
