Student Citizenship Award 2023

The Student Citizenship Awards program is conducted annually of which Her Excellency the Governor is Patron. Senior students are nominated and assessed against four criteria – leadership, contributions to the school and/or community and contributions to the environment and/or community development, as well as pride in Australian citizenship.

Jessica a University Senior College Year 12 student was nominated and awarded for her tireless work for social justice including fundraising, raising awareness, and coordinating events on behalf of refugees, the homeless and the LGBTIQ+ community.

Congratulations Jessica on being a 2023 Student Citizenship Award with distinction recipient. Jessica was one of ten awardees from across the state.
