The Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) has established a series of annual awards to recognise excellence in the teaching of Chemistry at both primary and secondary school levels.

Glen Arthur, Lead Teacher in Chemistry and Dean of Innovation and Partnerships at University Senior College was nominated for the Centenary of Federation Teaching Awards in Chemistry and is the awardee for the SA/NT Chemistry Educator (secondary) for 2019. Professor Chris Sumby presented the award to Glen last week at a RACI Branch event.

The award recognises the work Glen does in providing Professional Learning opportunities for teachers of Chemistry across the state and teacher training in Chemistry for the University of Adelaide. With over two decades as one of the state’s leading Chemistry teachers, USC congratulates Glen on his hard work supporting the students at the College and beyond.
